MACBETH

by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
directed by RACHEL TIBBETTS

OLD POST OFFICE PLAZA, Locust and 9th St., Saint Louis, MO

Macbeth, the hero soldier of Scotland, returns victorious from war, but along the way, encounters three "weird sisters" who proclaim that Macbeth will ascend to the Scottish throne, conveniently leaving out the means by which he will realize this prophecy. Enter Lady Macbeth, whose ambitions drive the couple to stain their hands with the blood of many, stains which are proving difficult to wash away.
